Practicing walking down the aisle

This is probably the 15th time these poor kids practiced, but they were so cute...& not so elegant. Don't be fooled by the faces, they LOVED this!

Arizona trip October 2007

Jeff's wedding was a good excuse to go to Arizona beforehand and spend some quality time with Nana and the aunts, uncles, & cousins. We were so spoiled and had so much fun with all of the activity and attention.

They had a cute little pumpkin patch in the middle of the desert surroundings outside the Desert Botanical Gardens. It was kind of odd, but so cute and fun.

They're trying to look at the butterflies with magnifying glasses, but Sydney never got that they were supposed to help her see them better.  She just liked copying Ana.

And more butterflies

Chloe picking the flowers
We got in trouble for this more than once.  Chloe was definitely more interested in the flowers than the butterflies.

Sydney had so much fun driving in circles around Bethany's backyard.

Even Chloe loved Beth's backyard.

Arg! I'm a pirate
Sadly this is the best picture I have of Sydney at 2nd cousin Cooper's pirate themed birthday party.   Soooo cute Heather!

Jeff & Emily's Wedding

My oldest brother Jeff got married in Santa Barbara, CA at the end of October. Sydney was a flower girl with her cousins and was so beautiful of course! We can't wait till we get the rest of the pictures from the wedding!

And you better remember that!

Hello Daddy!
You can't tell from the picture, but Sydney was quietly & slowly cuddling with Matt's arm.  We hadn't seen him in awhile as we went to Arizona and he went to Chris's wedding in Brazil just before this.  Boy did we miss him!

Excited to see Daddy

Nana's girl

At Jeff's wedding
We walked up to "The Courthouse" in Santa Barbara and Sydney asks, "Can we go inside the castle?" which is the building where Jeff got married.  Once inside, we put her flower girl dress on and she says, "Look, I'm a princess."  What a perfect day for a 2-year old!

Cute girls
I could just eat them up.  They are definitely my little sweethearts.

I'm a beautiful princess...and you better remember that!

Sydney was glowing just as much as Emily E. (Jeff's wife)

The flower girls
You try to get one straight picture of three silly girls dressed up as princesses!

Adore me!

11/4/07 - Halloween etc.

We had the hardest time getting good pictures because it got so dark and the camera took several seconds to actually take the picture.
Sydney walking Chloe
Once Chloe finally decided she could walk, Sydney decided she would lead her around.  The Murff's gave this costume to Chloe, but as Sydney loves bears so much she had to try on Pooh Bear.

What a mess
I gave Sydney her own canvas to paint on with fingerpaints.  It always takes a minute for her to get into it, but once she does, watch out!

Taking a walk with Nemo Kite
We took a walk to the nearby field to fly our $1 kite.  It actually was a good thing it was so cheap because Sydney got a kick out of running after it and throwing it in the air. She got bored when it stayed up too long.

Trick or treating
We went trick or treating in the Perrotti's neighborhood.  Sydney & Chloe really caught on this year (which was dangerous because they got so excited about the candy).

Happy Halloween
We had the hardest time getting good pictures because it got so dark and the camera took several seconds to actually take the picture.

Our little fairy
We couldn't find Pooh bear costume after getting home from California at 3am the day before Halloween, so we had to dress her in one of Sydney's new dress-up outfits.  (Thanks Aunt Katie!)

Medieval Queen
We really didn't spend much time preparing for Halloween this year, but luckily we had this extra costume because I bought it last year but decided to dress her as Cinderella instead.

9/21/07

I haven't posted in a while and its so fun to go back and look at the pictures from the last month or so. The biggest happening this last month is that Matt & I went to the US Open. As usual we aren't good at taking pictures of ourselves, but at least we have something (including what Lexus took for us).

The girls love playing on our bed

Whose bedtime is it?

Chloe loves to crawl with shoes.
She drives Sydney crazy because its usually with Sydney's shoes on her hands.
