Mom and Beth's visit

Mom & my sister Bethany came to visit for just 4 short days. So of course we had to pack the days with fun, visiting sites in New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. It was so fun (and tiring) and so sad to let them go at the end. I still need to edit this album, so please be patient until I get a chance to finish.

Bethany on the Ferry
Bethany was more comfortable on top of the ferry because she tends to get a little sick.  Its a
much better view up there anyway.  Chloe and I waited underneath where she could eat lunch
and be protected from the wind.

View from the ferry
You can see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty as the ferry was pulling out of Liberty State Park.

Ellis Island
This island was originally only 3.3 acres, but as its uses changed over time,  it was expanded
with landfill to 27.5 acres.

Mom, what is this?
My mom took this picture on her camera, and I don't know why, Either she liked the ground,
or it was an accident.

Arizona trip

We went to Arizona for my grandpa's funeral and the girls and I decided to stay for a few extra weeks to spend time with family. You can see how much fun we had!

Biking with Daddy
Matt decided to go see our old house only about a mile from Bethany's house. So sad we didn't live there at the same time!

Sydney raided Nana's dress up chest and thought she was the queen of the world...especially with Nana gushing all over her.

Sydney  and Anna were stroller buddies pushing their strollers in circles around Bethany's backyard.

What a mess!!!  You always know how fun the day was by how messy the face gets by bathtime.  Yuck!

Apache Junction parade.  The girls had so much fun watching the parade go by.  Sydney especially loved it when they tossed candy.  Not so happy when I took the butterfingers away.  (She's allergic to peanuts.)
Must Keep Going!  She was exhausted after many long days of playing hard, but she just could not stop.
Oh what a sweet girl Chloe is.  She's definitely my angel.

So strong! Chloe's showing off how strong she is by sitting up AND picking up a bobbly apply.  She's just mastering sitting up.

Night Night Bear

Sydney's favorite friend is her bear and I can always tell the moments that are most precious to her by how she takes care of it. When Kelie and Stan Hanson were staying with us just before they moved, Sydney claimed Kelie's bed in the living room and was cuddling her bear to sleep.

Veggie Tales

Sometimes she sings at the top of her lungs and sometimes she doesn't. You would be surprised at how much she knows and remembers when she's really into it. I just had to try to capture it because she is so darn cute!

5/6/07

I haven't updated pictures for a while. The last several weeks have been busy helping friends move and throwing a baby shower. But as always, there are plenty of cute moments to share. As you will see, I am a sucker for grumpy, sleeping, and eating photos.
