Eating cake

Chloe was so funny because it looks like she's just trying to humor us so we'll leave her alone, even though she really just doesn't want to eat cake.

8/1/07 Chloe's Birthday and more

Chloe turned 1. Its amazing that this year has flown by this fast. We celebrated her birthday on the actual day, and then last Saturday where we had a combined party with our friend Emma Perrotti turning 2. She was so grumpy on her birthday where we had an Elmo cake and friends over. Nothing would cheer her up as you can see. Unfortunately, there was a smudge on my lens (thanks kids) so I picked the best pictures, but hopefully Amber got some better ones too. And of course I have to add pictures from the kids latest antics. Sydney decided she wanted to pour out all of the new finger paints on her piece of paper and made quite the mess. Chloe discovered the fun of unrolling the toilet paper (she's done it 3 times now). And Sydney had a hard time giving up her balloon in the balloon toss; it took a lot of convincing.

I found the toilet paper.  Time to start putting it up.  Too bad I couldn't figure out how to open the  bath soap.

Chloe is so sweet when she is done eating.  She talks in her sweet voice as if asking politely, "Will you please get me down now?"

The festivities were too much since the other kids were so excited and we were trying to get Chloe to eat cake.  All she wanted to do is cuddle with her blankie & bottle.

Ok, who did it? I discovered too late that someone's sticky fingers got to the camera, so Chloe's beach party pictures didn't turn out so well.

I was so sad when my pcitures didn't turn out that Amber sent me some.  Luckily she doesn't let her kids get to her camera!

This video isn't anything fabulous, I just had to put it in because Chloe was not excited at all. I thought it was so fun how we were trying so hard to get her excited, which only got Sydney more excited and Chloe more subdued...this was before her fit.

I haven't posted pictures in a while, but I haven't taken many pictures lately. As usual lots of eating and beach photos.

Its actually spaghetti, but it looks very similar to her latest enchiladas picture from last time...hmmm.

I can't wait till this phase is over.  And to think I'm making spaghetti again for dinner tonight.  I dread cleaning

So the purpose of the beach towel is to keep sand off of everything, but Chloe ignored that fact.
By the end of our dinner (take-out Wendy's) sand was all over everything.
